Massage Therapy at Power Chiropractic
Massage isn’t just a way of pampering yourself—it can also be a powerful adjunct to your chiropractic care, as it addresses the mobility factor of the soft tissues. At Power Chiropractic, this is another service we provide in your customized program of care to help you meet your highest health, function and movement goals.

How It Works
While chiropractic care is great for restoring movement and alignment to stuck joints, massage addresses the muscles and other soft tissues that support those joints and allow them to move properly. When proper range of motion of the muscles is impaired, your joints will continue to move back into their improper alignment.
By breaking up scar tissue that limits movement and restoring strength, stability and flexibility to the muscles, your range of motion can improve, helping you get back to doing the things you love.
Our Techniques
Our massage therapist has extensive training and experience, and she is very knowledgeable about which methods can accentuate and accelerate your healing. For many patients, massage is an important part of their overall program of care, and the combination of chiropractic with soft tissue therapies can often create greater benefit than either approach on its own.
Depending on your specific situation, we may employ a variety of soft tissue techniques, such as:
- Active Release Technique® (ART®)
- Deep Tissue
- Trigger Point Therapy
We may also incorporate some stretching and strengthening movements during your session to help restore mobility to your muscles. Of course, our therapist will tailor your care to your preferences; your comfort is always our priority.
Benefits of Soft Tissue Therapies
In addition to supporting your overall healing process, many patients experience a host of other benefits, including:
- Better sleep
- Stress reduction
- Less pain and inflammation
- Improved posture
- Lower blood pressure
- Better circulation
- Greater immune function
- Release of muscle spasms/cramps
